Usage

By means of mega macs 50, you are able to find a defect in no time. It is easily operable with only 6 push buttons, similar to the macs 40 basic device. Several push buttons can also be added to ensure faster navigation.

After selecting the car and the control unit system, you are able to use the following functions:

• Fault codes (read / interpret / delete)
• Parameters
• Actuating units
• Basic settings
• Coding
• Service Interval Reset

The error code is not only given in a numerical form complemented by a simple text, but additional information is supplied about functionality, effects and especially causes. This allows you systematically, safely and quickly localize errors before you repair them.

The parameters that are at your disposal represent an optimal complement. They allow you to recognize connections between individual and dependent values, as well as problems. The display does not only run as a clear numerical value, but especially as a graphic display, which allows the easier recognition of time changes and mutual movements. By using this tool, the search for errors in a modern car has a real sense. For this purpose, we have mentioned the increasingly used CAN-Bus technology, as normal signals can not be measured on these CAN-buses any more.

If you need to measure a signal from one sensor or one actuator, you can rely on the easily operable 2-channel multi-meter with graphic display. It can even be used for measuring injection signals.
